Obstetrics

Every birth is a special event.  We are delighted to share this time with our patients.  Our ultimate goal in providing obstetrical care is the mother’s continued good health and the delivery of a healthy, robust newborn.  Knowledge and preparation are essential to enjoying pregnancy.  We make every effort to keep our patients informed and answer all of their questions to enhance their understanding.

Women Partners in OB/GYN provides complete obstetrical care that includes prenatal visits, the delivery and a postpartum evaluation.  Prenatal visits are rotated among our physicians, so that the patient has had a chance to meet the doctor who may be on call when she delivers.

Additional obstetrical services we provide are:

·           Management of high risk pregnancies

·           Abdominal and transvaginal ultrasound

·           Fetal heart monitoring

·           Non-stress tests.

Gynecology

We provide complete gynecologic care for females from the age of adolescence through post-menopause.  Early detection of health problems often leads to early cure.  We encourage our patients to have regular testing like pap smears, mammograms and bone density studies as simple and painless ways to detect problems and perhaps save lives.

Sexually active females and all females over the age of 18 should have a well woman exam each year.  Our annual well woman visit includes the following exams:
